InvestinThem ("we", "us", "our") is a youth-led nonprofit educational organization committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect account information you provide when registering (name, email, age), simulation data you create while using the app (profiles, balances, transactions), and voluntary information you submit through forms (contact messages, volunteer applications). We never collect real payment or financial account information — all simulations use virtual money only.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and improve our educational simulations, personalize learning experiences, respond to inquiries and partnership requests, review volunteer applications, and send important service updates. We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share information only with trusted service providers who help operate our platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under strict confidentiality, or when required by law. We do not share personal data for advertising.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we continuously work to protect your information — especially important given our minor user base.
5. Children & Minors
Our platform is designed for users ages 10–18. We collect only the minimal information needed to deliver education, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 10. Parents or guardians may request access to or deletion of their child's data at any time.
6. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and withdraw consent for processing, at any time. Contact us at hello@investinthem.org and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your language preference. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
